One injured tourist undergoes surgery in Telavi hospital

One of the 25 Belarus tourists injured in a road accident at Gombori Pass is undergoing surgery in Telavi referral hospital because of collarbone fracture.

Another injured tourist with chest trauma was transferred to Tbilisi.

According to Avtandil Kambarashvili, Head of Kambarashvili Clinic, nine patients are place at the clinic. Five of the nine patients will be discharged today.

16 tourists remain in Telavi referral hospital with various injuries.

A bus full of tourists turned over at Gombori Pass, Kakheti region today. 27 citizens of Belarus were in the bus, when road accident occurred.
