The employees of the Lentekhi District Division of the Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested L.J., born in 1992, on charges of drug crime, the MIA reports.
The crime is punishable by imprisonment for 6 to 12 years.
“The law enforcement officers seized as evidence about 200 cannabis plants of particularly large quantity, which had been planted and cultivated by the detainee.
The investigation is underway under Article 265, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of Georgia,” the MIA statement reads.
