An official welcome ceremony for Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili was held at the Slovak Presidential Palace.

Slovak President Peter Pellegrini hosted President Kavelashvili and the Georgian delegation. As part of his official visit, President Kavelashvili is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with President Pellegrini, both in a face-to-face meeting and an expanded session, followed by a joint media statement.

The Georgian President will also meet with Slovak Deputy Prime Minister Denisa Saková and the President of the National Council, Richard Raši.

The Georgian delegation includes Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Georgian Parliament; Giorgi Zurabashvili, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Konstantine Kvachakidze, Georgia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Slovakia; and representatives from the Office of the President of Georgia.
