Number of fatalities in car accidents increased in first quarter of 2018

A total of 107 people died in car accidents in the first quarter of 2018 according to SaqStat Statistics National Service of Georgia. The number was 104 in the same period of 2017.

The number of road accidents was 1428 during 3 months of 2018, while 1392 were registered in the same period of 2017. The number of injured people in car accidents also increased from 1787 to 1986.
