“The Court’s verdict should have been executed, the accused must serve a sentence,” Nino Zhvania, the mother of 12-year-old Salome Tatishvili told Georgian First Channel.

As Nino Zhvania noted, Giorgi Liparteliani was found guilty by the court and the family has been waiting for this verdict.

At the request of the Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia, Giorgi Liparteliani was extradited from the Czech Republic.

On January 10, 2016, Salome Tatishvili was skiing in Gudauri when Giorgi Liparteliani crashed into her from behind. The crash caused Salome’s instant death.
