“On May 26, there should be more of us gathered in Tbilisi than the number of our Armenian friends who have travelled to Yerevan to meet Marco Rubio!” Nika Gvaramia, one of the leaders of the Opposition Alliance, shared on social media.

As Gvaramia explains, a large crowd should gather on Rustaveli Avenue tomorrow, ready to speak directly to Secretary of State Rubio from there.

“It has been confirmed that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will arrive in Armenia on May 26. Since Bidzina has left us without friends, we need to reach out to ours. Personal appeals from ordinary people, many passionate Georgian patriots, are more meaningful and impactful than face-to-face meetings. Therefore, on May 26, we must be numerous on Rustaveli Avenue, speaking directly to Secretary Rubio from there,” Gvaramia emphasises.
