UNM’s Pavlenishvili: Our case before the Constitutional Court is so clear it is causing discontent even among GD supporters
“We can all clearly see what is transpiring in the Constitutional Court, where historical truth has been fully laid bare,” Irakli Pavlenishvili, Chairman of the Temporary Governing Council of the United National Movement, stated regarding the ongoing party ban proceedings.
According to Pavlenishvili, the hearing has clearly underscored the opposition’s arguments and political standing.
“I believe our advantage and the truth of our case are so unmistakable that they are sparking discontent even among Georgian Dream’s own supporters. This has become particularly evident over the past week, and I am convinced it will remain so moving forward.
As disappointing as it is to acknowledge, this institution has also been captured. The judge demonstrates not merely a favourable inclination, but an overt political bias in favour of Georgian Dream,” Pavlenishvili noted.
