A reception marking Georgia’s Independence Day was held at the Harvard Club in New York, organized by the Consulate General of Georgia, according to the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
Deputy Foreign Minister Lasha Darsalia addressed the guests, highlighting the strong partnership and friendly relations between Georgia and the United States, as well as the key priorities of Georgia’s foreign policy.
During the event, the Consulate General of Georgia was formally presented with a legislative resolution from the New York State Assembly recognizing May 26 as Georgia’s Independence Day in the state of New York.
