New modern residential complex under construction in Rustavi to house displaced families
“The construction of a modern residential complex is underway in Rustavi to provide homes for displaced families,” the Ministry of Health has announced.
The project will deliver fully renovated apartments to 800 displaced families across four newly built buildings.
“The development includes the construction of a stadium, a children’s playground, and training facilities within the complex. Funded entirely from the state budget, the project’s total cost is 80,971,596 GEL,” the Ministry explained.
Furthermore, the IDP Agency is actively assessing applications submitted by internally displaced families seeking accommodation in the new complex. Each family is assigned a preliminary score in accordance with legislation, and a commission will determine how many families will be monitored based on their scores once the evaluation process is concluded.
Giorgi Tsagareishvili, Deputy Minister of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Protection, alongside Davit Kaikatsishvili, Director of the IDP Agency, recently inspected the construction progress on site, the Ministry added.
