NEA issues alert about weather forecast for February 11

The National Environment Agency (NEA) issued an alert about the weather forecast for February 11.

According to the NEA, heavy rains and snow in some regions, fog, winds and avalanche threat in the mountainous zones are expected in east Georgia.

“Traffic restrictions may be imposed on certain roads due to heavy snowfall, poor visibility, blizzards and avalanche threats.

Heavy rains may cause swelling of small rivers and formation-activation of the land sliding process in the mountainous zones (threat level – medium),” the NEA said.
