Tbilisi Finance Summit will be held for the first time within the framework of the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum.

Governors from central banks, leaders of the financial sector, representatives of large companies and experts will participate in the summit co-organized by the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) and Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

According to the NBG President Natia Turnava, the Tbilisi Finance Summit is expected to host 1,000 delegates from over 50 countries.

“Discussion will take place within the Silk Road Forum format and will focus on our region as the connector corridor between Europe and Asia. We have the opportunity and ambition to make Georgia not only a logistics, trade and energy hub, but also a financial hub for the region,” she said.

Tbilisi Finance Summit will be held on October 22-23. Participants will review the latest financial innovations, regional development prospects, and international financial cooperation.
