NATO-Georgia Commission Sitting to be held in Brussels

The sitting of NATO-Georgia Commission will be held today in Brussels, Belgium, on the level of Defense Ministerial. Levan Izoria, Georgian Defense Minister will introduce NATO partners with the information about ongoing reforms in Georgia.

Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General of North-Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) will open the sitting with a welcoming speech.

First Channel inquired about the issues, which will be discussed at Georgia-NATO Commission Sitting.

NATO Chief said that partnership issues would be considered during the sitting and NATO members would be introduced with the latest information about Georgia’s achievements.

According to Stoltenberg, NATO would assist Georgia in continuing implementation of reforms in the security sector.

Challenges facing in the Black Sea region will be considered with respect to Russia’s increased representation in the region.
