Representatives from NATO’s international military and civilian services paid a working visit to Georgia’s Ministry of Defense from May 20 to 22, the Ministry reported.
The purpose of the visit was to conduct another round of consultations on NATO-Georgia military cooperation. During the meetings, the parties reviewed the implementation status of activities under the NATO Military Committee cooperation format, discussed a draft joint assessment and work plan, and outlined future partnership goals.
As part of the visit, the delegation toured the NATO-Georgia Joint Training and Evaluation Center (JTEC), where they examined capabilities developed through the NATO-Georgia Substantial Package (SNGP), reviewed the center’s infrastructure, and assessed ongoing projects.
The Ministry noted that multiple rounds of expert-level meetings are held annually within this cooperation format to address key aspects of NATO-Georgia military collaboration.
