National Tourism Administration: Georgia records record-breaking tourist arrivals in first three quarters of 2025
According to data from January to September 2025, Georgia has achieved a historic milestone in tourism, with a record total of 4.3 million visits.
The National Tourism Administration reports that the total number of international tourist visits reached 6.1 million.
“During this period, we welcomed 6,109,755 international travellers, a 5.4% increase compared to 2024; and 4,307,094 international tourists, representing a 7.9% rise from the previous year.
Notably, the third quarter of 2025 also saw a record-breaking number of international visits. In the July to September period alone, the total reached an all-time high of two million visits.
Specifically, 2,956,014 international travellers visited Georgia, a 6.6% increase compared to 2024; and 2,036,731 international tourists, which marks a 9% rise from the same period last year,” the National Tourism Administration stated.
