“National Movement – Strength in Unity” refuses to take up their mandates in parliament.
Nika Melia, a member of the United National Movement, stated about it at today’s briefing.
According to him, the demand for holding new elections in a free environment remains unchanged.
“The United National Movement – Strength in Unity” have made a decision, like other opposition political parties, not to enter the parliament that has nothing to do with politics, only Ivanishvili calls it parliament. This is not a parliament, therefore we have nothing to do there. Our demand remains unchanged – new elections in a free environment. The United National Movement – Strength in Unity makes a decision that is the will of society. We will not enter Parliament”, – Nika Melia said.
European Georgia, Labor Party, Lelo for Georgia, Girchi, Alliance of Patriots and Strategy Aghmashenebeli Party today announced that they do not recognize the legitimacy of election results and will boycott the next parliament.
