Nana Kakabadze, representing United Neutral Georgia, underwent questioning at the Prosecutor General’s Office regarding a complaint filed by her organization.

During the questioning, investigators sought clarification on specific aspects of the submitted complaint.

Kakabadze elaborated on the discussion topics: “We addressed the issues created by the opposition. We explained our reasoning for viewing this as an externally managed process and why we believed it was funded through international organizations.”

She further indicated that their complaint specifically seeks investigation into particular individuals, providing their full names and identities.

The Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia confirmed that on February 8, their Investigation Department initiated a criminal investigation encompassing multiple charges: sabotage under aggravating circumstances, attempted sabotage, and providing assistance to foreign organizations or foreign-controlled entities engaged in activities hostile to Georgia’s state interests. These charges fall under Article 318 (Part 1), Article 19 (Part 2 of Article 318), and Article 319 of the Georgian Criminal Code.

The investigative body stated that the criminal case was opened in direct response to the formal statement submitted to the Prosecutor General’s Office by representatives of the public movement United Neutral Georgia.
