MP Samkharadze: PM's inaugural Brussels visit emphasizes EU and NATO as top priorities
Nikoloz Samkharadze, a member of the ruling Georgian Dream party, commented on Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s first visit to Brussels, stating that it sends a clear political signal to the world that the European Union and NATO are the main priorities for the new Prime Minister.
Samkharadze highlighted that Irakli Kobakhidze intentionally chose Brussels for his first foreign visit, emphasizing the importance of the European Union and NATO for Georgia.
“Irakli Kobakhidze will engage in high-level meetings, both with NATO and the European Union. Additionally, a session of the Georgia-EU Association Council is scheduled. The statement by Joseph Borrell emphasizing Georgia’s effective progress in the European Union integration process adds significant importance to these events,” Samkharadze declared.
