MP Makhashvili says Saakashvili wants to be back on agenda by saying GD is almighty, controls opposition

“Saakashvili says that the Georgian Dream is almighty and controls everything in the opposition. His statement is comical,” said Levan Makhashvili, Chair of the parliamentary EU Integration Committee.

According to Makhashvili, the ex-president wants to be back on the agenda.

“When you lose the political process, then you start blaming one another for mistakes. Instead of acknowledging the mistakes, you start accusing others, calling everyone a traitor, instead of yourself. I wouldn’t be surprised if they unite, because it would be the end of a natural process or rather, a continuation of this process. I am more interested in the messages for unity. It seems we are observing a new process, and this process is conceived in the minds of their patrons,” he said.
