“We assured the public that October 4 would pass peacefully and calmly from a state perspective, and that is precisely what occurred,” stated MP Levan Makhashvili, Chairman of the Parliament’s European Integration Committee.

According to Makhashvili, October 4 was not a spontaneous event but a calculated effort aimed at overthrowing the government.

Now, it appears that the sole culprits are Paata Burchuladze, Paata Manjgaladze, and others. But of course, everyone involved bears some measure of responsibility,” Makhashvili concluded.
