MP Khundadze: Opposition aims at revolution, not elections

“The opposition’s aim is not to contest elections, but to pursue what they often call for, a revolution. In truth, this remains an unfulfilled desire. We are preparing for the polls, nominating candidates, developing an election programme, engaging with citizens, and aiming for strong results,” said MP Dimitri Khundadze, a member of the Georgian Dream.

Khundadze warned that the opposition is not genuinely preparing for the vote, but for disorder.

“The opposition is gearing up to incite unrest. We are used to their tactics, but division is also part of their strategy dictated from outside. Some aim to occupy the streets, others attempt to enter local councils (Sakrebulo) with just one or two representatives to cause disruption. Both approaches are futile. Whether they split into two or three factions, they remain the same. Ultimately, society will deliver the final verdict on them,” Khundadze stated.
