MP Kadagishvili: Opposition is going door to door abroad, demanding sanctions for Georgia, aiming to worsen lives of Georgian citizens
“The opposition’s blind allegiance to foreign interests is fostering apathy within society. Voters placed great trust in the opposition during the parliamentary elections, and what did they do with that trust? They threw it away and began erecting revolutionary barricades,” said MP Irakli Kadagishvili, the chairman of the parliamentary self-government committee, speaking to the GPB First Channel.
According to him, this behaviour is unacceptable to society.
“What are people seeing? The opposition is going door to door abroad, demanding sanctions against the country. Their goal is to cause as much harm as possible to Georgia, to make the lives of our citizens even worse, and to create a pretext for their revolutionary plans. Naturally, the public will neither shake their hands nor open the door. They are attempting to exploit May 26 to divide the nation. They are likely planning provocations,” Kadagishvili added.
