MFA in contact with Georgian citizens in Nepal who are safe

Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) said it has received no information regarding the presence of Georgian citizens in the disaster zone in Nepal.

According to the MFA, it maintains communication with relevant agencies.

“The Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs communicates with several Georgian citizens in Nepal who are safe. We have not received any information regarding the presence of Georgian citizens in the disaster zone in Nepal. The MFA keeps in communication with relevant agencies,” it said.

According to Nepalese officials, the death toll from floods and landslides has reached 360, and hundreds of people remain missing.
