MP Eka Sepashvili: Funded from abroad, they seek to divide society by attacking church

“The assault on the Church signifies an attempt to divide and polarise society,” stated MP Eka Sepashvili, a member of the People’s Power.

According to her, this attack targets a vital institution that has safeguarded the Georgian nation and its heritage for centuries.

“This is precisely what they are fighting against. In many instances, this struggle is also financed from abroad. What we are witnessing is a harmful effort against our country and its national interests. One of the manifestations of this harm is the attack on the Church. They are fighting not only against the Church itself but against any value that upholds the moral fabric of our society and nation,” Eka Sepashvili added.
