MP Bitadze praised Mayor Kaladze for successful transport, greening, urban policies

“Kakha Kaladze was and will always be a non-alternative candidate for the post of Tbilisi Mayor,” said MP Maia Bitadze, Chair of the parliamentary Environment Protection and Natural Resources Committee.

According to Bitadze, Kakha Kaladze has good managerial skills, and Tbilisi developed dynamically during Kaladze’s term in office.

“So many infrastructure projects, including in greening, have never been implemented in Tbilisi. Kakha Kaladze is truly a non-alternative candidate. I am confident that he will succeed. He is a mayor, outstanding for his strong managerial skills, with a leadership style focused on attention to detail and a results-oriented approach.
Many large-scale projects were implemented, and transport, greening and correct urban policies were elaborated. His handwriting is clearly evident in the capital. Today’s Tbilisi has transformed dramatically and is vastly different from the city we remember from ten years ago.

Therefore, I strongly believe that Kaladze will decisively win in the very first round, and the consistent, result-oriented policy implemented under his strong management will bring many benefits to our city,” Bitadze said.

The ruling party, Georgian Dream, is set to officially nominate Kakha Kaladze as its candidate for Tbilisi Mayor on July 31.
