Movement of passenger mini-buses to be banned in Tbilisi from March 18

Movement of passenger yellow mini-buses will be banned in Tbilisi from March 18 – Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said.

According to PM, the measure will be introduced in continuation of efforts to curb spread of the novel coronavirus in the country.

“Only subway and municipal buses will be used for transportation of passengers,” Gakharia said.

Georgia announced a new confirmed case of the novel coronavirus on Tuesday bringing the total number of infected people in the country to 34.
