Movement across Georgia-Armenia and Georgia-Azerbaijan borders to be suspended for 10 days
Today, Georgian Prime Minister had phone conversations with his Armenian and Azerbaijani counterparts.
According to Prime Minister’s press office, after contacting Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov, a joint decision was made to suspend movement across the Georgia-Armenia and Georgia-Azerbaijan borders for 10 days, effective on March 14, 2020.
“In addition, the parties agreed to facilitate the unhindered return home for their citizens”, – the press service of the head of the Georgian government said.
No restrictions apply to cargo transportation.
