Motor vehicle traffic is prohibited on Nakerala Pass and Sachkhere (Sareki)-Uzunta-Shkmeri-Zudali road

The Roads Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure reports that all types of motor vehicle traffic are temporarily restricted on the section of the national route from Kutaisi (Motsameta) to Tkibuli and Ambrolauri, between kilometres 39 and 72 (Nakerala Pass).

The department has stated that the restriction is due to avalanche risk.

Additionally, owing to severe weather conditions, such as heavy snowfall and blizzards, all types of motor vehicle traffic are temporarily restricted on the national route from Sachkhere (Sareki) to Uzunta, Shkmeri, and Zudali.
