Moderna to apply today for FDA authorization for its coronavirus vaccine

Pharmaceutical company Moderna plans to apply today to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for authorization of its Covid-19 vaccine, CNN reported.

The company claims its vaccine is 94.1% effective at preventing coronavirus.

The FDA will meet with its advisory committee in December to review the application.
