Ministry of Education, together with Georgian First Channel, launches TV-online educational project

The Ministry of Education of Georgia, together with the Georgian First Channel, launches TV-online educational project.

In the light of new Coronavirus outbreak, this project will make it possible to provide the school students with educational programs on television and online platforms.

Work on the project was intensively carried out for several days, and today the project has been put into production.

The program will be available to all students, for this purpose, all media platforms of the Georgian First Channel will be used – Second Channel, web portal 1tv.ge, youtube and Facebook pages of Georgian First Channel.

The Ministry of Education ensured the participation of teachers; curricula, subject recommendations, and instructions were prepared as well.

Within the project, Georgian First Channel will translate and broadcast educational documentaries produced by the best studios. It was also decided that, due to its importance, the project would continue after the elimination of the crisis concerning to new virus.
