Ministry of Education launches market survey for primary school uniforms ahead of 2026–2027 academic year; designs revealed

Educational Resources Ltd, operating under the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, has launched a market survey for the procurement of school uniforms for primary school pupils for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Preliminary sketches showing the proposed uniform designs have been made available.

According to information published on the State Procurement Agency’s website, delivery will be carried out in two phases: the first phase requires no less than 30% of the goods to be delivered by July 31, 2026; the second phase requires the remaining quantity to be delivered no later than August 20, 2026.

The general requirements set out by Educational Resources Ltd are as follows:

“The supplier must ensure the uninterrupted delivery of goods and bear all costs associated with transportation and related logistical and technical matters. Following the conclusion of the contract, the supplier is obliged to agree with the procuring organisation on the pattern, colour, and branding details for each type of item, including inscriptions, logo, colours, dimensions, and so forth, and may only commence production or manufacture of the goods upon receiving the procuring organisation’s express written approval. Any participant in the market survey, or their subcontractor (the manufacturing facility), must be able to demonstrate experience in the manufacture, supply, or sale of clothing worth no less than 5,000,000 (five million) lari accumulated between January 1, 2022, and the closing date of the market survey, evidenced by the relevant contract or contracts together with corresponding acceptance certificates and/or certified invoices.”

The window for submitting proposals opens on April 21 and closes at 12:00 noon on April 22, 2026.
