Minister of Economy welcomes Germany's decision on abolishing mandatory quarantine for Georgian citizens

Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava welcomes the German Government’s decision on abolishing mandatory quarantine for Georgian citizens obtaining permission to travel to Germany for several purposes, including education, job, medical care.

Earlier this week, Natia Turnava held an online meeting with the Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, Thomas Bareiß. In addition to other priority areas for bilateral economic cooperation, issues related to air traffic restoration between the two countries and the resumption of cooperation in the tourism sector were discussed during the conversation.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Robert Koch Institute published the list of countries at risk of importing COVID-19. Georga is not included in this very list.
