41 foreign citizens were deported from Georgia, in close coordination with the relevant units of the Georgian Interior Ministry.
According to the Ministry’s statement, a total of 41 citizens were deported from Georgia, namely from: Azerbaijan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, India, Jordan, Iran, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, South Africa, Armenia and Zimbabwe.
“In accordance with the current legislation, the deported persons were banned from entering the country.
It is noteworthy that in June of the current year, as a result of complex measures taken by the Migration Department employees together with other departments of the agency, a total of 124 foreign citizens were deported from Georgia, while the data of the first 6 months of 2025 shows that, a total of 525 foreign citizens were deported, representing 280 percent increase compared to the same period of the previous year, reads the statement.
