In coordination with the Migration Department and relevant units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia (MIA), 13 foreign nationals were deported from the country as part of recent comprehensive measures.
According to the MIA, the expelled individuals included citizens of Jordan, Egypt, Pakistan, India and Tukiye. They are placed at the Migration Department’s temporary center before the completion of expulsion procedures.
Under current legislation, individuals have been banned from re-entering Georgia.
“The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia is the authority responsible for combating illegal migration within the country. Its responsibilities include identifying foreign nationals residing in Georgia without legal grounds and executing their deportation,” the Ministry’s statement reads.
