Migration Department deports 103 foreign nationals from Georgia

Employees of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), working closely with relevant units within the Ministry, have deported 103 foreign nationals from Georgia following recent measures, the Ministry reports.

According to the department, in accordance with current legislation, those deported have been barred from re-entering the country.

“The comprehensive operations carried out by the Migration Department have resulted in the expulsion of 103 citizens from Türkiye, India, Egypt, Russia, Turkmenistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, China, Azerbaijan, Nigeria, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Ghana, Congo, Thailand, and other nations.

As part of a nationwide crackdown, a total of 360 illegal migrants were expelled from Georgia in March alone, and 904 in the first quarter of 2026,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated.
