MIA’s Strategic Pipeline Protection Department take part in ETERNITY 2025 command and staff exercise
Employees of the Strategic Pipeline Protection Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) recently participated in the ETERNITY 2025 command and staff exercise, held in Kars, Türkiye.
Members of the Rapid Response Division engaged in both the computer-based and field components of the exercise.
The scenario for ETERNITY 2025 was centred around peacekeeping operations, including safeguarding the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline during a crisis. The exercise also aimed to enhance interoperability between Azerbaijani, Turkish, and Georgian units and interagency partners. The exercise received positive feedback from all participating parties.
The Azerbaijan-Georgia-Türkiye trilateral command and staff exercise takes place annually, rotating between the three nations to strengthen regional cooperation and security.
