MIA probes into death of two minors in Batumi under article of negligent homicide

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia (MIA) has launched an investigation into the death of two minors in Batumi.

As the First Channel was informed by the Ministry, the investigation is being conducted under Article 116 of the Criminal Code, which refers to deprivation of life by negligence.

According to information from Batumi City Hall, two minors died as a result of falling into a water-filled ditch near 188 Fr. Khalvashi Avenue in Batumi.
