MIA: Large amount of various kinds of drugs seized from January 1 to May 10

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has seized large amount of various kinds of drugs from January 1 to May 10, as a result of operative-investigative activities carried out throughout the country. Police seized 9 kg of Heroin, 1.2 kg of Cocaine, 500 grams of new psychotropic substance including 5000 pills containing Buprenorphine, also, 1 kg and 700 grams of synthetic drugs “MDMA” and 850 grams of various psychotropic substances.

According to the agency, law enforcers have recently opened several facts of drug crime and arrested dozens of drug dealers.

According to the agency, Ministry along with the Chief Prosecutor’s Office continues active fight against drug crime and drug trafficking.
