MIA: Investigation into October 4 events identifies 15 suspects, 13 in custody, 2 at large
Law enforcement has identified 15 individuals involved in the October 4 events, with 13 already arrested and two remaining at large, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Darakhvelidze reported.
During a briefing held at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was confirmed that two suspects are still at large, and appropriate measures are underway to apprehend them.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) also states that investigative efforts are ongoing to identify additional perpetrators and ensure they are held accountable.
“The investigation into the criminal events that occurred in Tbilisi on October 4 is proceeding under Articles 317, 222, 225, and 187 of the Criminal Code of Georgia. As part of the initial phase, law enforcement officers have identified 15 persons involved. Of these, 13 have been detained through court rulings. The individuals are: T.M., A.N., B.Zh., B.M., A.G., E.Sh., G.R., V.F., D.S., M.M., Z.Kh., K.M., and S.M. Two suspects remain at large. The police are actively conducting operational, search, and investigative measures to locate and arrest them. The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues its efforts to identify other perpetrators and bring them to justice,” Darakhvelidze stated.
