The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has detained another individual in connection with the events that broke out in Tbilisi on October 4, bringing the total number of those detained to 46.

“A continued effort by the Ministry’s personnel is underway, with operational and investigative measures being pursued to identify and apprehend those responsible for violent acts in Tbilisi on October 4,” the Ministry stated.

As part of the ongoing investigation into the case, officers from the Central Criminal Police Department have detained another suspect, identified as G.K.

“To date, a total of 46 individuals have been taken into custody. Law enforcement officials are thoroughly examining the evidence collected to ensure appropriate legal action is taken against all those involved in the offences,” the Ministry added.

The investigation remains active under Articles 317, 222, 225, and 187 of the Criminal Code.
