Viola von Cramon, Member of European Parliament, has responded to the approval of the constitutional amendments by Georgia.

“Good news! Parliament of Georgia passed Constitutional amendments with 2nd reading. 1 more to go!

Electoral reform is in interest of Georgian democracy and every party has to take responsibility for political processes by voting for the amendments,” Viola von Cramon tweeted.

The Parliament passed the constitutional amendments in the second reading. 119 deputies registered for the sitting, 115 of which supported the constitutional law on the amendments to the electoral system, while 3 MPs voted against.
