Davit Sergeenko, Medical Director of MediClubGeorgia, confirmed to GPB’s First Channel that the health status of the two American soldiers injured during the multinational military exercise Agile Spirit 2025 is not life-threatening.

The soldiers continue to be under medical supervision for further evaluation and treatment.

The injuries occurred when their vehicle overturned during a military exercise at the Training and Military Education Command’s Support Centre in Krtsanisi, resulting in body bruises for both soldiers.

Agile Spirit 2025 is being conducted in both Georgia and Turkey, reflecting growing regional cooperation. The exercise began on July 21 near Turkey’s Adana Province with a joint U.S.- Turkish airborne operation.
