Mamuka Mdinaradze: Giorgi Baramidze accused Georgian soldiers of war crimes
According to Vice Prime Minister Mamuka Mdinaradze, Giorgi Baramidze has accused Georgian soldiers of committing war crimes.
As Mdinaradze noted, Baramidze blamed war crimes on the Georgian side in the same manner as when the resolution was signed two months after the Russo-Georgian War.
“Baramidze claimed that the Georgian side executed prisoners of war. The journalists attempting to ‘whitewash’, if you will excuse the slang here as well, his actions, conduct, and words put themselves in a position where they were asserting: ‘Well, by “executions” he meant they were shooting at them.’ Execution and active combat are entirely different things. Journalists even resorted to this ‘whitewashing’ to defend Baramidze, who accused our troops of war crimes,” declared Mamuka Mdinaradze.
