Mamuka Bakhtadze – All resources are mobilized to release Georgian woman detained by Russian soldiers
“All resources including the international community are mobilized to release the Georgian citizen detained by Russian soldiers,” Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister said when commenting about the issue of Maia Otinashvili, the 37-year-old Georgian woman who was detained by so-called “border guards” near the village Khurvaleti of Gori Municipality.
According to Bakhtadze, Office of State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equity is working in the 24-hour regime to and all the relevant mechanisms are activated to prevent such cases. “We hope that out citizen will soon return to her family and children,” PM stated.
Maia Otinashvili, the 37-year-old Georgian woman who was detained by so-called “border guards” near the village Khurvaleti of Gori Municipality, was sentenced to two-month pretrial imprisonment on October 2.
