“I am backed by ministers who deserve trust based on all criteria,” Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister stated during his address to lawmakers.
According to Bakhtadze, he promised to establish the small government precedent in the country and this was the best way out under the current reality.
Lawmakers will express confidence to the new membership of the government and governmental program during the plenary session today. The government will need 76 votes of MPs to be approved.
Lawmakers listened to ministerial candidates on July 13. There are three new ministers in the Cabinet: Mikheil Batiashvili is presented for post of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Giorgi Kobulia – Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Ivane Machavariani – Finance Minister.
