Maka Bochorishvili meets with Brazilian Foreign Minister

Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili met with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Luiz Lecker Vieira on the sidelines of the Dubrovnik Forum 2025.

According to the Georgian MFA, the meeting focused on friendly relations between Georgia and Brazil and prospects for cooperation. The importance of Georgia’s collaboration with Latin American and Caribbean countries was emphasized, highlighting Brazil’s role in this regard.

“The ministers discussed prospects for further development of bilateral relations and noted possibilities for exchanging high-level visits. The conversation also addressed potential for deepening cooperation in economics, tourism, cultural-humanitarian affairs, and people-to-people contacts.

The discussion touched on the situation in Georgia’s occupied regions and the security environment. Both ministers expressed readiness for continued close cooperation to strengthen ties between their countries,” reads the statement.
