EU Integration Committee Chair: Bulgaria supports Georgia's EU integration

“Bulgaria will support the decisions related to Georgia’s EU integration, including the granting of candidate status, among others,” said the Chair of the EU Integration Committee, Maka Botchorishvili.

Botchorishvili believes “it is essential to create a solid foundation for bilateral relations, which will enhance and strengthen cooperation between the two nations in various fields.”

“Since both Georgia and Bulgaria are Black Sea countries, the importance of the Black Sea has increased, and it has a special load for Europe today.

We will continue cooperation both in Georgia and in Sofia by exchanging and facilitating bilateral visits to deepen ties in various domains”, she added.
