Majority to back opposition MP's bill over parliamentary political groups

The parliamentary majority will back the draft bill over parliamentary political groups initiated by opposition MPs Khatia Dekanoidze and Roman Gotsiridze, the chairman of the Georgian Dream faction, Mamuka Mdinaradze, announced on Monday.

According to the amendments, the draft bill will allow MPs who quit the United National Movement faction to form a political entity.

Prior to that, the majority backed a more rapid review of the changes.
