Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili stated that the parliamentary delegation was warmly welcomed at the Luxembourg parliament and that Luxembourg supports Georgia’s European integration process.

“We, as members of the European community, must keep close ties. This spirit follows our meetings across Europe, where we maintain contacts with parliaments, committees, and friendship groups. Integration in the EU entails more than just integration at the level of EU institutions. It is communication and connectivity among EU member states.

As a result, we will, of course, take advantage of these opportunities. We need the assistance of all nations, especially Luxembourg, to move our institutions and legislation closer to the EU frameworks. We were assured today that Luxembourg would vote in favour of Georgia’s European perspective,” Papuashvili stated.

The Speaker leads the Georgian Parliamentary Delegation, which includes MPs Maka Botchorishvili, Giorgi Amilakhvari, Khatia Tsilosani, Rima Beradze, Elguja Gotsiridze, and Khatuna Samnidze.
