Lithuania stands by Georgia, - Linas Linkevicius released a video address about 10th anniversary of the Russian-Georgian war

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevicius released a video address in connection with the 10th anniversary of the Russian-Georgian war. The diplomat published a video on his Twitter page.

“10 year has passed since Russia‘s aggression against Georgia. Russia continues to violate Georgia‘s sovereignty, occupies 20% of its territory. Tomorrow together with Polish and Latvian colleagues as well as Ukraine’s Vice Prime Minister leaving to Tbilisi to express solidarity with Georgians”, – Lithuanian Foreign minister says.

“It is impossible to treat wounds of war and difficult to recover sovereignty and territorial integrity but that will come because Georgia is backed and supported by the democratic international community. Lithuania stands by Georgia”, – Linas Linkevicius voices the last worlds of his video address in Georgian language.
