Lithuania FM: Deal to end political deadlock reached!

“Encouraging news from Georgia. Deal to end political deadlock is reached,” Gabrielius Landsbergis, Lithuanian Foreign Minister, echoed the signing of the political agreement between the parties in Georgia sponsored by the European Council President Charles Michel.

“Hope that all responsible parties will sign it and then rigorously implement it. Grateful to the European Council President and all the parties for helping reach the deal. The biggest winner is the people of Georgia!” Lithuanian FM posted on Twitter.

The Georgian political parties signed A way ahead for Georgia, a compromise document submitted to the parties by the European Council President Charles Michel, at the Orbeliani Palace on April 19.
